ABOUT THE ROLE

 

The Corporate Relations division is seeking a Stakeholder Engagement Advisor – Regulatory, to assist in developing Port User and stakeholder engagement activities for the Port Capacity Enhancement Program (PCEP), as a key part of PoM’s Integrated Regulatory Strategy.

 

Reporting to the Stakeholder Engagement Lead – Regulatory, the role will work closely with other Port PCEP workstreams to coordinate Port User and stakeholder engagement activities consistent with the requirements of PoM’s regulatory framework and obligations, develop and implement stakeholder plans and manage relevant processes.

 

What you will be doing:

 

  • Reporting to and working closely with the Stakeholder Engagement Lead – Regulatory and collaborating with the PCEP Team to provide advice on consultation and engagement activities in support of PoM’s regulatory practices.
  • Support the development and implementation of multi-channel engagement and communications plans in support of PCEP. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with project team disciplines.
  • Obtain input, and monitor project reporting which may include stakeholder needs, interests, and issues associated with PCEP, and provide recommendations to manage identified risks and ensure stakeholder engagement activities are relevant, appropriate and informative.

 

The successful applicant will have:

 

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience working on major infrastructure projects in a communications and engagement capacity
  • Experience in or on a regulatory project
  • A tertiary qualification in communications, marketing or public relations or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience in helping to develop and implement stakeholder engagement programs
  • IAP2 qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communications
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relationships with a diverse range of people.
  • Strong project management skills.
